Chris Scheler Will Take You Back To The ‘Good Old Days’ With His New Song

Chris Scheler is an alternative rock artist from York, PA. He has been a frontman, guitarist, and bassists for several bands drawing inspiration from Stone Temple Pilots, The Beatles, and Led Zeppelin. His songs are known for their deep lyrical hooks, charged melodies, and catchy guitar riffs which continues in this new single.

His new song ‘Good Old Days’ takes a new indie-pop style and truly shows off Scheler’s talents. It has a bicoastal collaboration with Robin Diaz on drums, recorded in Los Angeles, then finished in Atrium Audio in PA with Jason Greenwood.

The singer stated on his Facebook that the tune is inspired by a The Office quote “I wish there was a way to know you were in the good old days before you actually left them.” He wrote the number about living in the moment and watching his family grow; he wanted to express the good times he spent with his loved ones in his music, a truly sweet sentiment amid the last couple of years full of pandemics and isolation.

The single shows off a new side of Chris Scheler with a softer acoustic vibe that almost feels a bit more like an early Dashboard Confessional, pop-punk feel. The lyrics are very heartfelt with a sweet almost like a love letter message that is easy to relate to. The melody gives it a romantic tone to sway to making it the perfect song to play over a graduation or wedding video. It’s a beautiful song that shows a sweeter side to Scheler’s sound and truly shows off elegance and talent in his music.
