The guitar pop band from Sydney consisting of Royel Maddell and Otis Pavlovic have recently toured the UK for the first time, and seeing a small Aussie band takeover the other side of the world so quickly was mesmerising.
The start of the track consists of head bopping electric guitar Royel Otis are renowned for as well as some blissful synths running in the background making it sound almost like an old-school Two Door Cinema Club record.
Otis’ unique and ear-warming vocals thrive throughout this track, especially when he sings the words ‘‘with you’’. The chorus is full of pure Royel Otis noise including punchy drums, fast guitar and dancey rhythms making you instantly fall in love with the sound of Royel Otis. The instrumental ending to the song lets the listener hear every instrument being played perfectly and you can really explore the Royel Otis sound at its finest.
For such a new band, Royel Otis have already released some incredible tracks such as ‘Oysters In My Pocket’ and ‘Kool Aid’, and this latest release ‘Fried Rice’ makes no exception to their inspirational talent and success.
