Alongside her will be Confidence Man, Natalie Imbruglia, Bimini and Arctic Numpties to make this fantastical festival even more special!
Bimini rose to fame on Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK (Series 2) for their iconic performances and has since became an author, model and a musical artist who is dominating the pop music scene following the recent release of their debut EP ‘When the Party Ends’. They are an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community and someone that so many people can relate to through their story and songs and Sheffield cannot wait to see what they bring to the Big Top.
Confidence Man are a band that should be on everyone’s list of bands to see live, they are simply out of this world! The Australian indie-pop quartet with a discography of 90’s rave inspired tracks will take to the stage to give Sheffield a show full of vibrancy, energy and the best dance moves around.
Rock N Roll’s Saturday headliner is no other than Sheffield’s own, Self Esteem with the finale of her ‘Prioritise Pleasure’ shows which has been touring for almost 2 years. The critically acclaimed album speaks about issues of misogyny and heartbreak making it one of the most poignant pieces of music released in recent years due to its relatability to fans. Not only will this be a homecoming gig for Self Esteem, but also a legendary one as she closes this chapter of her career and celebrates everything her 2nd album ‘Prioritise Pleasure’ has achieved.
As well as these insane headliners, Rock N Roll Circus will also be hosting a BBC Introducing Stage with a line-up featuring some of Sheffield’s finest rising artists and bands such as Sister Wives and Oh Papa. And of course, you will also find an outstanding circus performance from aerialists, stilt walkers, contortionists and many more! Rock N Roll Circus takes place on Saturday 2nd September at Don Valley Bowl, Sheffield.
