The Howlers Announce Limited Edition Cassette Of Debut EP ‘The Sum Of Our Fears’

The Howlers have made an impressive start to their musical career. With airtime already secured on BBC Radio 1 and the Seattle based alt-rock station KEXP, the sky really does seem to be the limit for the vintage-sounding band. 

Their debut release, the extremely well received ‘The Sum Of Our Fears’ will now enjoy an outing in cassette form via Chalkpit Cassette Club. In collaboration with the NME x Squarespace #RebuildMusic campaign, the cassette will be only the second offering from the Isle of Wight based label.  

‘The Sum Of Our Fears’ has riffs that seem to have been plucked straight from the Rock ‘n’ Roll laden brain of Jack White, whilst the bands live shows, which Clash magazine claim have cut a swathe through the capital, only add to the potent air of excitement surrounding The Howlers.  

Now available for pre-order, with an official release date of 22^nd October, the limited run of only 150 copies will feature the unheard song ‘I’m An Animal’. A 2-minute ride of industrial riffs, rolling drums and frontman Adam Young’s trademark snarling vocals, the bonus track alone from London’s own desert-rockers makes this opportunity one not to miss.
