YUNGBLUD has officially released his cover of Black Sabbath's 'Changes', which was recorded during the already iconic Back To The Beginning live show.
He took to the stage alongside metal and rock royalty to honour Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath for Ozzy's final performance. Both the event and YUNGBLUD's single release have been in support of charitable causes such as Cure Parkinson's.
The ballad was originally released in 1972 and joins a myriad of Sabbath covers that graced the stage during this all-day event. However, critics and fans alike have praised YUNGBLUD as one of the day's highlights - an impressive feat considering the calibre of talent who appeared at the event. His capabilities as a vocalist were evident through the way he carried every note to perfection. Hearing the crowd sing along and the eruption of applause at the end of the single demonstrates just how talented he is at captivating an audience.
The track features a strong backing band that helped to give this song the immense performance it deserved. The group featured Extreme's Nuno Bettencourt, Sleep Token's II, Anthrax's Frank Bello, and Adam Wakeman. They made up one of multiple supergroups from the event that combined forces to deliver huge performances.
YUNGBLUD has been a prominent name within the alternative scene for quite some time. His hits, such as 'parents' and other notable covers like 'I Was Made For Lovin' You', have helped gain him a loyal fanbase and show his impressive vocal range. Nevertheless, he has struggled to make a good impression with classic metal and rock fans. This live performance has shifted general ideas about the artist and given him the credit and praise he well deserves.
