Last year, the band completed a stellar UK and EU tour, selling out venues and adding numerous dates to meet overwhelming demand. More recently, the group opened for BRIT award-winning band Geese for the Australian leg of their tour. They are set to return to the UK for a major festival run, including Reading Festival, Tramlines Festival, Boardmasters, and many more. Planning to also release their debut album later in the year, 2026 seems to promise even more than their whirlwind 2025.
The cover itself is almost unrecognisable - it is a true, indie-fuelled guitar piece, with plenty of shimmering call and response between the two guitarists Jules Paradiso and Learmonth. The band has left the song sounding jagged and urgent, and as a listener, one can’t help but feel a sense of dread and existentialism. Paradiso describes the song as feeling ‘rapture-esque’, and says it pays homage to bands like The Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Bloc Party. They name other inspirational bands in their interview, especially their love for The Go-Betweens.
To end their interview, the boys reveal that their album has been recorded and that it’s their ‘primary concern’ this year, as they also continue with touring.
You can listen to their cover of ‘DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love’ here, as well as the band's festival and tour dates.
