Tooth Prove Why Garage Bands Still Work

'The Age Of Innocence’ is a track that helps remind us of youth. The London band Tooth, composed of Tom Pollock alongside Ben Ashley, Charlie Arnison, and Roy Lowe remind us once again why garage bands are still important today. With modern music becoming more and more polished, their raw presence feels like a beat of truth surrounded by the fabricated world around us.

The production leans heavily on keeping the mood high with heavy bass and drum work in the background. Lowe does an amazing job at keeping us on our toes throughout the entire track, with Ashley, Arnison, and Pollock on bass and guitar; they work together to make this track even more memorable. None of their instruments outweighs the other and it helps the track become a cohesive work of art rather than a mess of instruments fighting over each other. It helps the band to sound like they're playing to a crowd in their own garage, and that's the beauty of Tooth.

The energy for ‘The Age Of Innocence’ is built for an audience, and Tooth has been proving it on the road. They just recently completed a tour supporting Dust, bringing their sound to a new audience. They’ll kick off the rest of 2026 at the Borderline Festival in Dublin from February 19-21, followed by Gold Sounds in Leeds on May 3rd, and The Great Escape from May 13-16. If this single is any indication of what Tooth has to offer, they will be headlining festivals in no time.
