Surpassing all expectations, Knocked Loose teamed up with fellow American Denzel Curry to drop what might be the band’s most vicious single to date, 'Hive Mind'.

Being the first release since 2024, the band certainly haven’t lost their swagger or uniquely bold sound while they’ve been away if ‘Hive Mind’ is anything to go by. Rather, they’ve only built upon it to create something that truly blows listeners’ socks off. From Bryan Garris’ screeching vocals and Kevin Kaine’s frenzied drumming that lends the song its fast-paced furiousness, Knocked Loose have created something that truly showcases why they’re the best in the business right now. 

Acting as the quintet’s overview on today’s society, ‘Hive Mind’ is a song that describes the tiredness behind conformity. Through its razor-sharp lyrics such as “no heart behind the way you feel" and "when you don’t follow the trend, you get crucified”, and scorching guitars (courtesy of Isaac Hale and Nicko Calderon), it’s almost impossible not to fall in love with what the Kentuckians have created.

Mixing elements of metal and rap, Curry infuses blistering confidence into the track and helps to balance out the overwhelmingness of it all, while still keeping everything flowing smoothly. 

Having smashed onto the scene way back in 2013, ‘Hive Mind’ makes it abundantly clear that Knocked Loose are still a force to be reckoned with and leaves audiences eagerly awaiting to see where they’ll go next.
