Pop Princess Kesha has reinvented her dance hit ‘GLOW.’ by teaming up with Melbourne’s techno-pop trio Blusher.
The track has arrived at the perfect time for Kesha, who is preparing to head down under to Australia and New Zealand with ‘The Tits Out Tour’, marking her first headline tour in the region since 2018 - with Blusher as special guests.
The remix takes what was already a standout track from Kesha’s 2025 album ‘Period’ and elevates it to another level. ‘GLOW.’ is mainly given a new lease of life through the equally shared, well-blended vocals that dovetail effortlessly with the silky synth beats that just ooze out of the track from start to finish.
Lyrics such as ‘You're just not the man I wanted you to be’ and 'Since you've been gone, I'm golden / And everybody's saying that I got that new / Glow’, land even smoother than they did the first time, making this a match made in techno heaven.
Although this comes as no surprise, Blusher, consisting of Miranda Ward, Jade Ingvarson-Favretto, and Lauren Coutts, was the obvious choice for this remix. They are doing noughties girl pop, mashed with 1990s techno-rave bops, like no one else. Their most recent EP, ‘RACER’, is a real gem. In recent years, they have also toured with the Sugababes and Tove Lo, and performed at London Pride with Kylie Minogue.
It has a runtime of just over two minutes, but it certainly packs a punch; not a second nor a glossy beat is wasted. This track belongs in the top tiers of camp nightclubs and should be on everyone’s ‘Out Out’ playlist.
The thing that is most impressive about this remix, however, is its ability to be unashamedly in your face! This is what dance music is all about; it should be unapologetically kitsch and wildly boisterous. The track will certainly appeal to fans of Peaches, Adult DVD, and New Young Pony Club.
‘GLOW. (Blusher Remix)’ was released on January 16, 2026, via Kesha’s independent record label, Kesha Records.
