FLETCHR FLETCHR’s Debut EP: Where Vulnerability Becomes Anthemic

Change is a quiet constant running through FLETCHR FLETCHR’s debut EP, ‘We All Feel The Same’. Across six tracks, the band explores change, love, loss, uncertainty and the moments where clarity breaks through.  Big drums, sweeping soundscapes and a distinct emotional sensitivity shape a record that feels both expressive and close at the same time. After a stellar year of festivals, a UK headline tour and a support slot for the legendary Imagine Dragons, the band sounds sharper and more assured than ever. Their production is stunning, with each track carving out its own landscape yet remaining sonically cohesive.

“Can you feel the strain of another yesterday” opens the EP with a line that instantly sets the tone. Beneath it, melancholy sounds and soft guitars move like a slow dawn. A saxophone murmurs in the distance, and the track takes its time until 2:42, when the beat drops and huge drums arrive with force. It’s a striking introduction to the world they’re crafting.‘Find Happiness’ follows, built on a steady pulse and opening to wide, simmering soundscapes. The vocals shine here, carrying the weight of the lyrics in a unique tone. “Please just give me a reason to stay / where nothing really seems to change” becomes the centre point of the song, a subtle chase for things to alter. It sits with the discomfort rather than trying to tidy it away.

At 0:42, the harmonies of ‘Alive’ bloom beautifully; it feels like one of the most delicate moments on the record. The vocals are rich and expressive, layered in a way that feels effortless - it’s powered less by volume and more by emotional clarity. A combustion of energy comes next with ‘Jet Black’, an instant live favourite waiting to happen. From the first listen, it feels tailor-made for festival crowds - upbeat, punchy, built for movement. ‘Limitations’ is ambitious, but never overdone. Around the two-minute mark, the song opens up into a huge, cinematic soundscape. Slick guitars, sweeping backing vocals and thunderous drums lift the track into something readily arena-sized.

The title track stands out as the EP’s emotional centrefold, it’s bold, candid and quietly brave. Lines like “Saying how you really feel won’t kill you anyway” and “We all feel the same / why does no one think to say?” strike with simplicity and with truth. It opens up a conversation about mental health in the modern age, whilst remaining as anthemic as the rest of the project. The final fade-out, capped by a single drum roll, feels like a gentle closing of a door on something intimate.

In ‘We All Feel The Same’, FLETCHR FLETCHR aren’t just refining their sound. They’re shaping a world built on human connection, honesty and shared experience. It’s the kind of EP that hints not at potential, but at inevitability: a band destined for something much bigger, and well on their way.
