Dan Wines is certainly a lead guitarist who pulls from blues and hard rock influences through his musicianship.. The riff is dirty and hails back to the likes of Franz Ferdinand and early Arctic Monkeys. It juxtaposes great with the clean vocals of Michael Guariglia, whose voice reaches above the instruments to shine through massively. Having said that, having a synth mixed into the song helps give it ties to the 1980s/1990s throwback records that the band enjoy.
