2000 Trees, the rock festival rooted in community and inclusivity returns to Cheltenham from 9th - 12th July. But, with a huge line-up starring seven headliners across four days, which artists need to be at the top of your ‘ones to watch’ list?
Four-day ticket holders can be excited for Manchester-based rock duo Hot Milk's return to the 2000 Trees stage. The duo will be co-headlining Wednesday night, fresh off the back of their second studio album ‘Corporation P.O.P’ set to release at the end of June. Joining them as co-headliners are Kid Kapichi, also performing on Thursday, alongside a lineup including Welsh DIY punk quintet Panic Shack, and Brighton-based VOWER also for their first of two festival sets.
The Thursday night is co-headlined by PVRIS and Kneecap, making it clear that 2000 Trees’ carefully curated lineup does not fall into a one genre trap. PVRIS, known for their “genre-blurring” sound will take over the 2000 Trees stage the day after their UK date of the ‘White Noise 10 Year Anniversary Tour’, celebrating ten years since their debut album. The Thursday’s packed lineup also features DeathbyRomy, who released their debut album ‘HOLLYWOOD FOREVER’ at the end of April, SNAYX, The Hunna, and 2000 Trees favourites, Twi
With over 130 announced artists, “the best medium-sized festival” has one of their biggest lineups to date. The Friday includes Baby Lasagna, widely known for representing Croatia in the 2024 Eurovision and placing first in the public vote; rising alt-pop artist, Julia Wolf; and co-headliners, Taking Back Sunday and Coheed and Cambria. Known for blurring the binary of small and large bands, creating connection between audiences and designing a festival rooted in community - it is clear that this year is no exception.
Alexisonfire are closing the festival, the post-hardcore band making their debut at 2000 Trees with style. Don’t be mistaken, 2000 Trees have not saved all the excitement till the end, with iconic acts building the energy throughout Saturday including explosive Scottish band VUKOVI, post-punk artist Røry, Manchester’s THE HARA and As December Falls.
This independent music festival knows how to curate a lineup - in fact they’ve won awards for it - check out 2000 Trees official playlist below to hear all of the artists set to tear up the festival stages!
