Slayyyter Turns Heartbreak Into Electronic Pop Perfection on 'I Think He's Got A Girl'

'i think he's got a girl' is the third track to be released from Slayyyter's upcoming album 'wor$t man in america', the companion album for her recently released record, 'WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA'.

Unlike the loud, intense beats which you would normally expect to start a Slayyyter song, 'i think he's got a girl' begins with a dreamy, stripped back electronic sound. When the beat eventually kicks in, it grounds the track, pulsing like a heartbeat rather than overpowering it. Her voice adds to this sense of emotional intimacy, demonstrating the versatility of Slayyyter's vocals.

The emotions of the song ramp up in the chorus, and so does the track sonically. This is delivered through distortion and the pain held in extended notes, representing the pain of realising the guy who she has feelings for is with someone else. As with her previous work, Slayyyter perfectly transports the listener into the emotional place she is singing from.

The accompanying music video with this track is the perfect visual representation of the song. She is dressed in glamorous clothing in a large house, but she remains consumed by a sense of longing.

Slayyyter has achieved yet another release which makes you feel like the main character to listen to over and over. The slower introduction to the track makes it more unique for her, but it is still cohesive to her body of work.
