On Saturday the 3rd of October, the one-day indoor festival brings together 12 incredibly talented rising artists crossing multiple genres from across the country. Night Currents wasn’t designed for mainstream names or predictable festival acts; its whole intent is to discover hidden talent you wouldn’t normally find elsewhere. With a no-clash rule, this creates a safe space for every artist to have their moment to shine in front of all music fans attending the festival.

Lime Garden
Lime Garden are an indie-rock alternative band currently based in Brighton. Their sound is indie alongside danceable alt-pop, influenced by darker alternative. Across the band’s two albums ‘One More Thing’ and ‘Maybe Not Tonight’, they developed a distinctive, indie-inspired sound, which makes them the perfect choice to close a festival created around artists who experiment within other genres.
Prima Queen
Prima Queen is set to add a dreamy, guitar-led emotional performance to the bill. Their debut album ‘The Prize’ established Prima Queen as a unique presence in the UK indie music scene, demonstrating vulnerability alongside contagious melodies.
ARXX
Coming from Brighton, indie duo ARXX, formed by Hanni Pidduck and Clara Townsend, merge garage-rock with infectious power-pop. Creating music equally suited to a club dance floor and a festival crowd, they are no strangers to Night Currents, as they appeared at the 2024 edition of the festival. Throughout 2026, we have seen the duo take on some incredible opportunities, like performing alongside MUNA and at festivals across Europe. Expect guitars, attitude and unbeatable energy.
My First Time
My First Time arrives with a different sound that perfectly aligns with Night Currents' alternative brand. Coming down from Bristol, the band blends indie with electro-punk, bringing a frisky sharpness to their songwriting. Their 2026 schedule has been packed with shows and festivals across the UK and Europe, including Kendal Calling and Misty Fields. They’re a festival act who will quickly become a new favourite to music lovers looking for something different.
Ain’t
Travelling from South London, Ain’t mix grunge, post-punk and indie-rock, bringing a heavier sound to Night Currents. Their influences add some incredible guitar energy to this year's festival.
crysometimes
Originating in Brighton, crysometimes are bringing their infectious alt-pop energy to the stage. Their catchy sound and emerging presence in the live music scene make them a group worth getting to know ahead of the festival.
SOFY
SOFY balances well between indie and alternative pop. With engaging songwriting and a striking personality, she’s bringing a poppier energy to this year’s alternative lineup.
Mary Middlefield
Mary Middlefield is well known for her relatable songwriting and emotionally layered lyrics. Her softer, reflective sound offers a different feel from the festival's electric guitar energy.
SLAG
SLAG is another name to watch out for. Their alternative tone and energetic approach make them an organic fit for a festival centred around discovering and spotlighting emerging artists.
CATTY
Originating from Wales, CATTY brings a pop-rock sound shaped by realistic, personal songwriting and stories of past relationships. Her fast-growing live presence makes Night Currents the next exciting step in her musical career.
SPIDER
SPIDER joins the lineup with their own unique take and distinctive sound on alternative music. Just like many of the artists on this lineup, they are an artist you need to discover rather than one you should be familiar with before arriving.
jo from school
Closing the lineup, jo from school blends folk with indie-rock; her introverted songwriting offers a gentle contrast to the festival's more dynamic acts.
