After releasing their self-titled debut EP in May, Bleech 9:3 come in scorching with their latest single 'Figure 8' via Polydor Records. An addictive new single packed to the brim with the trademark blistering guitars (Sam Duffy) and Luke O'Neill's vicious drumming style, which listeners have come to adore from the Dublin-born, London-based band.

Having already been selected to support Wunderhorse on the upcoming Ireland leg of their tour, the quartet leave no stone unturned with this release. Right from the get-go, 'Figure 8' is an explosion of rage. Not polished or clean by any means, Bleech 9:3 perfectly captures the unfiltered ethos of the post-punk genre. Made exceptionally clear by frontman Barry (Baz) Quinian's powerful lyrics such as "They get you young", "They just want you on a noose", and "They wanna see you crawl", it cements the band as a force to be reckoned with.

Discussing the track with NME, Quinian describes it as "the product of crying quietly so your flatmates don't hear you". This sentiment echoes in every decision that went into the track's production. Working alongside Dan Carey (Black Country, New Road, Fontaines D.C.) and Rich Costey (Muse, My Chemical Romance, Sam Fender), it's no wonder why the track has quickly become a fan favourite.

Amidst the chaos, James Quinlan's thumping bass is certainly a highlight, acting as the backbone upon which the rest of the instruments sit. Managing to turn 'Figure 8' from something already good into something brilliant.

With fans already claiming that Bleech 9:3 are going to be the next big thing, it'll be interesting to see just how far they'll go.
