‘Small Town Party Girl’ Lois Shares Her New Single

Upcoming Leeds-based songwriter Lois has shared her latest single, ‘Small Town Party Girl’. The artist has turned to Northern party culture for the inspiration behind this new era of her career, following a headline tour and her acclaimed 2025 sophomore EP ‘Seven’.

Lois said the single’s vision was born from the small-town parties she grew up attending, always with the same woman on the dance floor: “She was the last one standing every time. I was always mesmerised by her, and that she didn’t care what anyone thought, to her, there was no one else in the room. Just her and the dance floor. I was hooked.”

Cited inspirations, from Prince to Self Esteem, skate across the track’s sonic dance floor, which is a glittering mosaic of bubbly pop melodies and addictive 80s-inspired percussion that twists and taps. Its iconic cowbell pays classic homage during a cheekily announced “dance break” mid-song.

The songwriter’s vocals are smooth and assured, embodying the mesmerising figure her words are in tribute to. The role she takes on leaves audiences hooked as she once was, and she takes her bow as the song draws to a close: “Thank you all for coming tonight to see my show ‘The Small Town Party Girl’! I’ll be here until the end of the night!”
