British pop heartthrob HRVY is back with his new track ‘lie to me’, bursting back to the pop scene after his last release with Ferris Pier ‘Summer Nights in Tokyo’ in 2025.
HRVY teased new music at the start of March with a subtle Instagram post, creating a frenzy among fans who have been beyond excited for the ‘Personal’ popstar’s new era of music, after becoming an independent artist in late 2023.
Co-written with Chelsea Balan, ‘lie to me’ discusses a toxic relationship through emotive lyrics yet disguised with an upbeat and breezy tempo. He sings “Tell me, tell me, tell me what I wanna hear / Promise that you're never gonna disappear / Oh, I know it's over, make it crystal clear / But the truth is overrated / Lie to me, baby”. Working with producer Hampus Lindvall, the track has elements of synth pop and electronic percussion, creating this danceable, upbeat tempo. It’s a perfect song for this spring.
‘lie to me’ is the first track from HRVY’S EP ‘Bliss’ due to be released in June 2026.
