Australian DJ and producer Ninajirachi has released a remix of her song 'Delete' from her 2025 album ‘I Love My Computer’, collaborating with Berlin singer and DJ horsegiirL on the track.
‘I Love My Computer’ is an album which explores online culture and connection to the internet. Ninajirachi incorporates sounds from EDM and hyperpop genres to create a cohesive and refreshing album. ‘Delete’ is the fifth track on 'I Love My Computer'. The lyrics comment on the online experience of posting a thirst trap Instagram story with the intention of one specific person seeing it, describing the act as a "modern, mega, digital, meta, matin' ritual". This is a more lyric led track than the other songs within this project, with Ninajirachi taking a moment to build on key themes of digital desire.
The remix of ‘Delete’ begins with the verse from the original track, before building into a stronger dance beat which pulses throughout the song. It maintains the honesty woven throughout the original track, but the heavier beats and techno influences create a new elevated sound. The impact of horsegiirL is evident across this remix, reflected by the strong club energy and dance driven beats. The remix of the track showcases the diversity of Ninajirachi as an artist. By bringing different sounds to this project, she is able to approach the exploration of life on the internet from a different angle.
