Arthur Hill Lights Up Brixton

The O2 Academy Brixton was completely packed on Thursday night as fans eagerly gathered to see Arthur Hill’s biggest headline show to date. Known primarily for his music career, but also for his YouTube and TikTok presence, Arthur drew a crowd buzzing with anticipation.

The night kicked off with Benjamin Steer, whose set was both electrifying and emotional. He instantly captured the crowd’s hearts. When he performed ‘Back to Me’, the entire venue clapped along, and his interaction with the audience had fans screaming every lyric.

Then came the moment everyone had been waiting for, Arthur Hill took to the stage with ‘She’s So Handsome’ from his latest EP ‘Missed Again’. To introduce ‘Iced Coffee’ he joked that the song was sponsored by Rodds, the coffee brand created by his friends Will Lenney and James Marriott. His energy was unreal, he was clearly buzzing for this show. Arthur danced across the stage making sure no one felt left out and he was giving the performance everything he had.

As always, Arthur included a cover in his set. For this show, he performed ‘Linger’ by The Cranberries, dedicating it to his best friend Arthur TV, who loves the song and often sings it himself. During this song, the whole venue lit up as everyone switched on their phone torches waving them in the air sharing wholesome moments with their friends and family. He followed this with a medley of tracks not originally on the setlist to make sure everyone heard their favourites, although he jokingly skipped ‘F*ck You’.

When he performed ‘You’re Not a God’ the atmosphere shifted completely, the crowd fell silent in awe of his vocals. You could feel how much the song meant to people, it became one of those unforgettable moments where the whole venue felt completely in sync. Before ‘Lily’ he asked if there were any Lilys in the audience, and mid-song his friends Italian Bach and Liv joined him onstage to dance adding to the fun. It was clear from the moment the opening chords hit that ‘Bride and Gloom’ is a massive fan favourite, everyone was on their feet and screaming the lyrics back at Arthur without missing a beat.

‘Hey Arthur’ was a magical moment with the whole venue dancing and singing along. But for many, the true highlight was ‘Dead in the Disco’ The lighting display during this song was breathtaking, it was bursting with colourful rainbow lights. At the beat drop rainbow confetti exploded into the crowd, elevating the moment even more. As tradition goes, everyone crouched down before launching back up just as the confetti went off.

Arthur closed the night with his hit ‘Appetite’ ending an unforgettable show on the perfect note.

On Friday, Arthur announced his only headline show of next year at Wembley Arena. Presale tickets will be available on Wednesday 3rd December at 9am with general sale following on Friday 5th December!
