Beauty From Pain: Dead Dads Club Do It With ‘Don’t Blame The Son For The Sins of The Father’

Dead Dads Club open up with debut track ‘Don’t Blame The Son For The Sins of The Father’

Their first single, taken from their upcoming album, is a deeply personal track infused with raw emotion and frantic energy.

The EDM-style intro kicks us into overdrive with Chilli Jenson’s vocals helping to balance out the frenzy, the light inside the darkness, making for a cathartic listen. Adding to the heightened emotions that this tune has to offer, the lyricism further proves why the Worcestershire band should be on your radar: “make a plan and I’ll leave ya ‘cause I have nothing else left to give”.

The middle provides a slight respite as it’s calmer than the start and gives the song an enjoyable, almost I Don’t Know How But They Found Me feel to it before it bounces back to the swirling chaos of the beginning.

Founded in grief, Dead Dads Club has managed to create beauty from the pain, a testament to the band’s strength and dedication to their craft.

Having already supported household names including Fontaines D.C. on their 'Romance' tour, Dead Dads Club are beginning to fly solo and make a name for themselves while they do, as shown by their recent UK tour, making them ones to look out for in the future.
