TV Face Challenge The Norm With 'White Noise White Lies'

Lancaster alt-rock trio TV Face return with their biting new single ‘White Noise White Lies,’ the second glimpse into their forthcoming sophomore album ‘Wolf Rents Bark,’ which releases on 5th September 2025.

Gritty, urgent, and unrelentingly raw, the track distils the band’s punk spirit into a four-minute assault on modern noise and societal expectations.

From the opening stabs of chorus-drenched, overdriven guitars, the atmosphere is tense and electric. Pounding toms drive the verses forward with an almost tribal intensity, leaving space for lyrics that cut with both irony and anger: “Yeah look at them selfies / Wide eyed and healthy / This mirror’s kind of filthy / Wipe it off to see me.” By the time the chorus erupts, the band are in full-throttle mode, shouting the refrain “White noise, white noise, white noise, white lies” like a rallying cry.

A jagged guitar solo in an explosive bridge lifts the track into even more chaotic terrain before collapsing into a stripped-back bass-and-drums breakdown. Here, the shouted mantra “Why shut your head? / Why? I never get it” feels like a direct challenge hurled into the void, before the song lurches back to its opening riff and into a final, cathartic chorus.

‘White Noise White Lies' is messy, relentless, and built for the sweat-soaked energy of a live room. TV FACE aren’t just writing songs – they’re creating soundtracks for collective release, where discontent transforms into something exhilarating.
