With his new EP 'Dark Enough To See' due out at the end of this month, we chatted with Matt-Felix about the new project, upcoming shows and his "desert island" picks as part of the Seven Questions with Music Is To Blame series.
Introduce yourself and where you’re from.
My name is Matt-Felix, I’m French/English living in London.
What do our readers need to know about you?
They need to know that I’m releasing an EP on August 29th, it’s called ‘Dark Enough To See’ and I’m very proud of it.
What have you got coming up that you’re most excited for?
I’ve got a run of three shows at the end of August that iI’m looking forward to. A gig supporting Razorlight in Darlington, the Rock N Roll Circus in Sheffield supporting James, and Lindisfarne Fest with the Waterboys. Who I really love.
What’s the best run-in you’ve had with a fan?
I’ve had a few sweet moments!! There was a lady who made me beautiful necklaces inspired by my art work, which was very cute.
What’s been your biggest ‘I’ve made it’ moment so far?
Seeing people connect with my music is always the most special thing.
