The second single from Heron’s upcoming sophomore album, ‘Underground Sky’, ‘Read My Mind’, fuses an unexpected mix of genres and showcases a distinctive take on alternative pop, infused with elements of psychedelia and subtle touches of funk, resulting in an original and captivating track. 

‘Read My Mind’ starts with an electrifying surge of energy, led by a powerful, intense drumbeat that establishes a dynamic but firm rhythm. This drumbeat has a mechanical twang, where the momentum of the track soon transitions into a groovy 60s-themed baseline with a quickened pace.

The instrumentation follows a fluid, ever-shifting pattern, alternating between moments of restraint and bursts of energy. Electronic textures add a sharp, futuristic edge to the otherwise retro-toned arrangement.
