'Arc De Triomphe' - Aminé's Return To Form

The second single from Aminé’s upcoming album ‘13 Months Of Sunshine’ has arrived. Following experimental electronic love track‘ Familiar’ is ‘Arc De Triomphe’, marking a return to form as the Portland native spits over a sample of ‘Has It Come To This?’ by The Streets.

The track is packed with slick bars, reminiscent of his last solo album ‘TWOPOINTFIVE’ in his confidence, wit, and delivery in lines such as“Put your back in, get the chiropract’ in”. Aminé's punchy cadence and charisma are on full display here, as he showcases his ability to balance sharp rhymes with a sense of humour that's become one of his trademarks.

With interpolating such an iconic UK garage tune comes the huge responsibility of remixing it with both reverence and originality, which he accomplishes almost effortlessly. His voice glides over the funky beat, commanding the soundscape as he makes the ‘Original Pirate Material’ track his own, reinventing the classic by stamping it with his signature playful flair.

'Arc De Triomphe’ pulses with energy and swagger, affirming Aminé's artistic versatility when played alongside its preceding single. If the two tracks are anything to go by, his upcoming album promises to be his most adventurous and excellent yet, injecting bold experimentation and polished confidence into his already eclectic catalogue. Watch this space.
