‘Hippodrome’ follows his return from last year's album ‘The Theory Of Whatever’ back in 2022. The new single carries the vigour and vibrancy of old and recalls some of the musician’s finest melodies with his typically raucous energy.
His distinctively gritty vocals return as this marks his first release of new music in 2023, with its quirky lyrics “I love John Cleese / A cucumber / I’m cool as ice” and interesting repertoire of sound, it looks set to become a classic new tune.

His lyrical talent is immense as he conjures vivid images and strong familiar feelings of wistfulness (“Street light flickers / Feel it in my blood / You know I’m all love”). With his attractive, laid-back hip-hop vocals, his bedroom indie sound is eclectic to say the least, injected with his own mashup of influences and independent take on pop.
