Dayglow Release Latest Sing Along Smash, ‘Then It All Goes Away’

The ever-cheerful Dayglow’s latest single is the perfect track to accompany a late-night summer sunset drive, windows down and volume at full blast.

Formed in late 2017, Dayglow is masterminded by Texas native Sloan Struble.

Garnering massive TikTok popularity with early release ‘Can I Call You Tonight?’, their first album was released in September of 2018, with the aforementioned single reaching the dizzy heights of no.3 in the US alternative chart.

The signature Dayglow sound is an amalgamation of 80’s pop, with dreamy guitar licks and punchy, snappy drums.

Then It All Goes Away’ follows this formula, featuring a high BPM, a commanding bass riff and driving piano, accompanying Sloan’s peppy and cheery vocals.

The production is full and bright, with the vocal taking center stage. The vocal is not too overpowering however, as the whole array of instruments can be picked out well from the mix. The breakdown towards the middle of the cut adds some nice variety to the listeners experience and sees the introduction of one of my all-time favourite instruments, the cowbell.

On June 22nd, Sloan announced that Dayglow’s third studio album ‘People In Motion’ will be released on October 7, 2022, and ‘Then It All Goes Away’ will be the lead single.
