Shiiine On Weekender: Meet The Acts

Returning for it's sixth installment, the anually heald 'Shiiine On' festival, reinstate their renound for having stellar line-ups with an unbeatable crop of iconic indie talent. This long weekend, 12-14th Nov 2021, will be brimming with music, madness and mayhem and is set light up Somerset's Butlins site with electrifying sets and hundreds of screaming fans.

Shiiine On Festival first jumped onto the radar in 2015 when they hosted the likes of Inspiral Carpets, The Twang and Happy Mondays. 

Other festival veterans include: Echo and the Bunnymen, Clint Boon, Levellers, Fun Lovin' Criminals, Starsailor and Ocean Colour Scene.

Described as 'the ultimate experience for indie and dance fans' , this festival is sure to be a nostalgic reminiscence of seminal British music, and one not to be missed.

Meet the acts...


The dynamic Welsh-indie duo formed in the mid 90's and have since accumulated a hell of a CV. Having gained 25 top 75 singles and releasing ten studio albums, the band have certainly cemeted their ability to headline a festival.

Peter Hook & The Light

Well known as being the bass player for both legendary bands Joy Division and New Order, Peter Hook formed this band who tour playing covers of his post-punk predecessors. Hook is famous for his high-string melodic bass plucks and his ability to put on an electrifying show with his dominating stage presence.

The Coral

Emerging in the early noughties, the band are most famous for their hit track 'In The Morning' which has been heavily features, in soundtracks and adverts alike. Having realsed nine albums, the band are showing no signs of slowing their momentum. The Coral have previoulsly opened for a number of big name acts, including: Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, Blur, Manic Street Preachers and Supergrass.

The Pigeon Detectives

Leeds hailing indie rock legends, The Pigeon Detectives, have played festivals such as  NBHD Weekender, Fuji Rocks and Rock Oyster Festival and are no strangers to big stages. Their massive power-house sound and stage presence are sure to leave a lasting impression on attendees.

The Clone Roses

The tribute act have gained acclaim as being one of the best Stone Roses tribute bands to grace the planet. Being the face of the Madchester music scene, the band are known for their melodic lyrics and prominent guitar riffs. The Clone Roses are the longest serving SR tribute band and have headlined a number of festivals.

Having recently announced an appearance at Alan McGee's Creation Day festival, the band have also joined this star-studded line-up. The Scottish-shoegazers' upcoming album is sure to be overflowing with dance-floor fillers and deliver huge commerical success.

Sice Boo & The Radleys

Reimagining the 90's band under a new name, The Boo Radleys reunite to grace the festival with their long-awaited presence. The badn were a part of the 90's brit-pop scene which dominated the charts alongside legends such as Blur. After a two decade hiatus, fans of the band would be fools to miss this epic reunion.

Taking place 12th, 13th, 14th November 2021, tickets and packages for the SHIIINE ON WEEKENDER 2021 at Butlin’s Minehead Arena, Somerset are on sale now.

All packages include 3 nights accommodation on-site at the Butlin's Minehead Holiday Resort. (A deposit scheme is also available for customers who wish to pay by instalments.)
